What We Do

We Support Early Education
We provide school kits, uniforms, and essential learning materials to children in Sri Lanka who face financial hardship. Our goal is to ensure every child begins their education with dignity, confidence, and the tools they need to succeed. In some cases, we also contribute to teacher salaries to help sustain local schools and ensure consistent learning environments.

We Train Youth for IT Careers
We offer job-oriented IT training for school leavers in both Sri Lanka and the UK, helping them gain practical skills and access better opportunities.

We Empower Women-Led Familie
We support families led by women through financial aid, community workshops, and access to resources that promote independence and resilience.

We Build Community Networks
VTO-UK connects volunteers, donors, and local leaders across borders to create a strong support system for vulnerable families.

Through events like Elle tournaments and Tamil heritage celebrations, we help youth stay connected to their roots while building confidence and unity.

What We Care For!
Caring Through Crisis, Education, and Community Empowerment
At VTO-UK, care means action. During the COVID-19 pandemic, we mobilized over £12,000 in donations to support vulnerable communities in Sri Lanka. We paid salaries for preliminary school teachers to continue English education, ensuring children didn’t fall behind.
Today, our care continues through school kits, uniforms, and learning materials for children in need. We train youth for IT careers, support women-led families, and offer guidance and mentorship to help every child and family move forward with dignity.
